Progressive heavy psych / stoner rock from Australia. Much more complex than traditional merits of the genre, with tasteful experimentation and even some space rock influence. Awash in a haze of fuzzy atmosphere, but with still poignant sweeps of guitars and vocals. The last two tracks on the album are both standouts, full of emotion.

This album is weirdly fascinating to me. I can't seem to get into the first and last songs for the life of me, but the rest of this is golden. Think The Cure via Fascination Street but grungier but also shoegazier, more echoey, psychedelic.
Favorite track: Control.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+...
